How to get rid of leeches single-player PS4

So I've google it and watched two videos everything says stand in fire and it'll go away, I've died to fire twice now and still have the leech what do I do? I've stood on my forge, my campfire, and I stood around torches and a campfire and I can't get it off

It's on one of your dinos then. Check them all and look for the option to "remove leech".

All times, I've jumped on and off flying and land Dino's and it stays in the middle of my screen, even when I pull up the map it's still in the middle

If you've died, then the leech might be on your tame and not on you. Have you checked the tame you were riding for leeches?
